attrib +s +h “ItemName”

Once after hitting the enter key, your folder/file will be hidden. Now, if you go to view and check Hidden Items (as mentioned above) you’ll notice that the item won’t show.
To show the hidden item, open CMD and type this command:

attrib -s -h “ItemName”
